Our Authentic and Talented Teachers
Meet our Fall Session 2016 Teacher!
Daria Timashkova - We are enthusiastic about working Daria whose talent and passion are rooted in growing up in a household where spinning yarn from goat wool to knit shawls and scarves was part of a family skill passed from generation to generation. Daria learned to work with threads and various fabrics from her mother and from her classes in the Maritime University in the Ukraine. Her knitting knot class combined with the knowledge her mother instilled in her as a child, Daria learned a set of knots discovering a new frontier of weaving and “macramé” techniques. After moving to the United States, she has handmade beautiful pieces of art, experimenting with different materials and forms, combining the technique of macramé with pieces of furniture. Daria shares our passion for crafting and DIY and we want to provide you an event to meet and learn from her.

I am a wife and mommy of two little boys. I love all things domestic. Fern & Feather was the name of my interior design business. Now Fern & Feather has changed with the seasons of my life. It is less about design and more about all the things that inspire me. I started my blog in October 2009 and since then I am amazed everyday by the people, experiences and personal growth that it has given me.
